Tyson Anytizers Ranch Flavored Chicken Fries

Looks: The only difference I found between the box and the real deal is that the real fries have a significant number of black specks on them (probably part of the Ranch seasoning). You might also be able to make the argument that the fries on the box have a bumpier texture than the fries inside the box, but I don’t think it’s an argument you’d win. 4.5 out of 5

Taste: Ranchtastic. Wait, I want to say Chickentastic instead. Wait, I mean… Ranchickentastic. Whatever word I use, the fries were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of ranch flavor – not so little that you can’t detect it, but not so much that your breath smells like salad dressing the rest of the day. 4 out of 5

To me the picture of them on the box looks more like food to me then the actual photo…I say more like food because neither looks too much like something I’d eat….although your description does make them appetizing. Do you happen to know what it says in the ingredient list about the chicken? Is it mechanically separated or is it actual breast meat?

    These look horrid.

General Question, how do you cook the food? Microwave or oven or other?

Underneath every post, it will say “See other foods… cooked in the [blank].” That line shows how each meal was cooked. For this one, it was the oven.

There are black bits on the fries pictured on the package, just far fewer of them. They’re easy to miss. As for the bumpiness, the chicken fries on the box are much bumpier and for some reason look more delicious because of it (implications of crispiness?), and that is an outrage up with which I would not put were I to care more!
